Luis Jauregui, FAIA President

Luis Jauregui, F.A.I.A., is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Environmental Design and a Masters of Architecture. A registered Architect and registered Interior Designer, Luis is highly esteemed among his peers within the design and construction industry.

Luis is a long standing member of the national and local American Institute of Architects (AIA), having been a founding member and serving long term on the leadership committee of national AIA’s Knowledge Community Custom Residential Architects Network (CRAN); as founding member of Austin’s AIA CRAN committee; and as a board member as Treasurer of the Austin Chapter of AIA. Luis has provided exceptional leadership in the Home Builders Association of Austin, serving as President in 1999 and as director with the local, state and national homebuilder’s associations. Luis co-founded Austin’s Custom Builder Council and was elected to NAHB’s elite Builder 20, a nationally selected group of million dollar homebuilders.

Community involvement includes serving as board member for the Austin Community College Foundation, board member for the Mexic-Arte Museum, board member for the Caritas Clinic; president and founding member of the Austin International Group; appointee to the Economic Development Commission to the City of Austin, Long Range Planning Committee of Eanes ISD; supporter of various Austin philanthropic groups.

Susan Jauregui Vice President | Broker

Susan Jauregui has been an active real estate Broker since 1986 and is committed to the highest standards of representation for her clients. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Susan is a member of the Austin Board of Realtors and Houston Association of Realtors, and holds designations from the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE).

Community involvement includes service as board member to Scenic View Westlake Property Owners Association, Villita West Office Condominiums Association and Travis County Municipal Utility Board #14; Barton Creek 8212 Women’s Club; support to Community First for Austin’s Homeless, Hospice, Andy Roddick Foundation and the Red Cross.

Andrea Spitia holds a degree in Architecture from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Monterrey, Mexico. Her background spans both commercial and residential design, where her commitment to exceptional, client-centered results has been the constant throughout her career. At Jauregui, Andrea brings her technical experience in BIM and Revit to every project, ensuring that design intent translates seamlessly into construction. Her favorite part of the process? Zoe Pettit received her architectural degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She is an experienced designer with a passion for construction details and architectural material. Her greatest professional joy comes from working closely with clients to bring their visions and dreams into a reality that they can appreciate and enjoy forever. She has brought this passion for design into her experience across the city of Austin for the past 10 years, and across various scales of commercial and residential projects. Her passion for creativity expands beyond architectural design and spills into hobbies such as art, home renovation, music, and classic film.

Matthew Long Designer

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technologies from NYIT and has been in the field of architecture for over 22 years. Throughout his career, he has worked in various disciplines, including residential, retail, commercial, multifamily, and senior living. Matthew loves the unique challenges and problem-solving opportunities each discipline presents. Outside of work, he is a huge movie buff, typically seeing 2-3 movies a week. He has also written two standards documents, one for AutoCAD and one for Revit.

Martin earned a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from La Salle University in Cuernavaca, Mexico as well in Graphic Representation and Photography. Martin has applied his creative passion to the area of landscape architecture, and has worked with other notable architect firms and construction companies in the design and implementation of commercial and residential landscape projects.

Kristin Tavrides earned a Bachelor of Arts at Ohio State University and an Associate Degree in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design in Chicago.  Kristin went on to open her own design firm for over 10 years.  She brings a plethora of residential and commercial design experience, and love for all things design to the Jauregui Interior Department.

Lorna Gardner Estimator + Purchasing Director

Lorna Gardner brings over ten years seniority as Construction Estimator for Jauregui. Lorna’s main priority is evaluating cost of materials and labor for each job and procuring work contracts for construction. Additionally, Lorna oversees current and historical cost reporting systems and provides overall management to the construction department. With more than 20 years in the construction industry, Lorna is knowledgeable in all aspects of project management and administration.

Gail O’Kelly Director of Construction

As Purchasing Manager, Gail O’Kelly is responsible for the review and management of all construction invoices, vendor accounts, and equipment logs as well as providing general assistance to the Estimator. Gail attended West Texas State A&M and brings extensive administrative experience in high-end residential construction.
