Luis Jauregui, FAIA President

Luis Jauregui, F.A.I.A., is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Environmental Design and a Masters of Architecture. A registered Architect and registered Interior Designer, Luis is highly esteemed among his peers within the design and construction industry.

Luis is a long standing member of the national and local American Institute of Architects (AIA), having been a founding member and serving long term on the leadership committee of national AIA’s Knowledge Community Custom Residential Architects Network (CRAN); as founding member of Austin’s AIA CRAN committee; and as a board member as Treasurer of the Austin Chapter of AIA. Luis has provided exceptional leadership in the Home Builders Association of Austin, serving as President in 1999 and as director with the local, state and national homebuilder’s associations. Luis co-founded Austin’s Custom Builder Council and was elected to NAHB’s elite Builder 20, a nationally selected group of million dollar homebuilders.

Community involvement includes serving as board member for the Austin Community College Foundation, board member for the Mexic-Arte Museum, board member for the Caritas Clinic; president and founding member of the Austin International Group; appointee to the Economic Development Commission to the City of Austin, Long Range Planning Committee of Eanes ISD; supporter of various Austin philanthropic groups.

Susan Jauregui Vice President | Broker

Susan Jauregui has been an active real estate Broker since 1986 and is committed to the highest standards of representation for her clients. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Susan is a member of the Austin Board of Realtors and Houston Association of Realtors, and holds designations from the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE).

Jaqueline Ramos, Assoc. AIA Designer

Jaqueline Ramos is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University with a BS in University Studies Architecture and a Minor in Business and Sustainable Architecture and Planning. Her favorite part of working with Jauregui is seeing all the pieces come together from the design to the build process.

Chris Watkins Designer

Chris Watkins holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Idaho and a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University – Idaho. With six years of experience and recently joining Jauregui, Chris is passionate about translating clients’ visions into reality. He finds joy in witnessing clients’ excitement as designs come to life. Beyond work, Chris collects LEGO architecture sets and is pursuing his architect’s license and LEED accreditation. Family-focused, he enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and three children. Chris’s dedication to design and client satisfaction makes him a valuable asset to Jauregui.

Irene Garcia Designer

Irene Garcia holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain. With six years of experience in architecture, she has worked on projects across Spain, Europe, and the Middle East, gaining valuable insights into design and construction. Irene is passionate about turning ideas into reality, focusing on creating spaces that are both beautiful and practical. She loves collaborating with clients to ensure every project meets their needs and exceeds their expectations. Outside of work, Irene enjoys traveling, discovering new places and cultures, and finding inspiration in the world around her.

Matthew Long Designer

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technologies from NYIT and has been in the field of architecture for over 22 years. Throughout his career, he has worked in various disciplines, including residential, retail, commercial, multifamily, and senior living. Matthew loves the unique challenges and problem-solving opportunities each discipline presents. Outside of work, he is a huge movie buff, typically seeing 2-3 movies a week. He has also written two standards documents, one for AutoCAD and one for Revit.

Martin Hernando-Agraz Landscape Designer

Martin earned a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from La Salle University in Cuernavaca, Mexico as well in Graphic Representation and Photography. Martin has applied his creative passion to the area of landscape architecture, and has worked with other notable architect firms and construction companies in the design and implementation of commercial and residential landscape projects.

Kristin Tavrides Senior Interior Designer

Kristin Tavrides earned a Bachelor of Arts at Ohio State University and an Associate Degree in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design in Chicago.  Kristin went on to open her own design firm for over 10 years.  She brings a plethora of residential and commercial design experience, and love for all things design to the Jauregui Interior Department.

Meredith Shapiro, ASID Senior Interior Designer

Meet Meredith Shapiro, one of our established Senior Interior Designers. Meredith is a graduate of Indiana University holding a BS in Business and Design and an interior design associate’s degree from the Art Institute. Meredith comes to us with over a decade of experience in the interiors industry.

Meredith launched and ran her own interior design firm, seamlessly collaborating with architects and builders, fusing creativity with functionality. Her design philosophy centers on authentic partnerships with clients, creating homes that authentically represent their unique identities.

Meredith is originally from Seattle, and most recently moved from Dallas. She is married, and has 3 children. Meredith’s positive energy, combined with her attention to detail creates a unique working relationship with her clients, allowing her to create beautiful spaces with a deep understanding of their lifestyle and needs.

Gabrielle Del Rossi Associate Designer

Gabrielle Del Rossi is an accomplished Associate Interior Designer, bringing with her an Associate’s degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA. With over five years of experience in the industry, Gabrielle is passionate about creating spaces that have a significant impact on people’s lives. She thrives in a creative environment that allows her to leverage her expertise to deliver exceptional results. Gabrielle’s keen eye for design and attention to detail is a tremendous asset to our team, and she takes pride in being able to work collaboratively with our clients to bring their vision to life.

Alexis Duncan Interior Purchasing Coordinator

Alexis Duncan holds a BBA in Marketing and is the Interiors Purchasing Coordinator at Jauregui. She is thrilled to work alongside a passionate team dedicated to turning dreams into reality. With a love for all things interior design, Alexis is excited to contribute to the amazing projects at Jauregui. Outside of work, you can find her shopping in thrift markets, walking her Labrador in the dog park, or exploring new restaurants in Austin.

Lorna Gardner Estimator + Purchasing Director

Lorna Gardner brings over ten years seniority as Construction Estimator for Jauregui. Lorna’s main priority is evaluating cost of materials and labor for each job and procuring work contracts for construction. Additionally, Lorna oversees current and historical cost reporting systems and provides overall management to the construction department. With more than 20 years in the construction industry, Lorna is knowledgeable in all aspects of project management and administration.

Gail O’Kelly Director of Construction

As Purchasing Manager, Gail O’Kelly is responsible for the review and management of all construction invoices, vendor accounts, and equipment logs as well as providing general assistance to the Estimator. Gail attended West Texas State A&M and brings extensive administrative experience in high-end residential construction.

Alex Gonzalez Project Builder

Alex Gonzalez holds a Bachelor degree in Public Administration from Texas State University. Alex’ dedication to his projects and strong managerial skills make him invaluable to the construction team.

Ray Sasser Project Builder

Ray Sasser initially began his career as a design draftsman but found his passion working in design build. As a seasoned Project Builder, Ray is committed to his team, his trades and to his homeowners. Ray goes the extra mile to insure that his projects are built to high standards.

Dwayne Pippin, GMB Project Builder

Dwayne Pippin studied engineering at Texas Tech University and earned the designation of Graduate Master Builder following extensive experience in the field as Project Builder. Dwayne’s commitment to his projects, clients and team make him a highly valued member of the Jauregui’s construction department.

Rod Jauregui Project Builder

Rod Jauregui earned a Bachelor degree  in International Business from the University of Texas and brings years of experience in residential construction and project management.  Rod’s  enthusiasm and spirit of teamwork are appreciated by all.

Tara Barnes Project Builder

Tara Barnes holds an Associates of Arts in Business degree from Lone Star College in Houston, and is earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and Management with a Minor in Business Administration from Texas State University. Tara provides much needed backup and organization to the purchasing department.

Dalia Hanson Project Coordinator

Dalia Hanson earned a Bachelor’s in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Culinary Institute of America. Dalia plays a crucial role as liaison between each department on her projects, creating seamless communication with her team.

Daniela Johnston Project Coordinator

Daniela Johnston has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from DePaul University in Chicago. She has been working in construction for 15 years. Her favorite part about working at Jauregui is getting to know the clients and working with them to help them build and design their dream space.

Amy Narvarte Project Coordinator

Amy C. Narvarte brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in Faux Finish and Restoration Artistry. With a BFA from Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design, Amy’s journey began in Hollywood, painting for scenic productions and MTV videos. Proudly leading her own company in Kailua-Kona, HI, Amy established herself as a respected professional before joining Jauregui Architect in Austin.

Amy thrives on collaboration, working closely with craftsmen, architects, engineers, and clients to overcome challenges creatively and build lasting relationships. As a member of IDAL (International Decorative Artisans League), she merges her passion for craftsmanship and creativity. Outside work, Amy indulges in artistic pursuits, culinary experiments, hikes in nature, and cherished family moments, finding inspiration and joy in every endeavor.

Roni McKenzie Construction Assistant

Roni McKenzie is a skilled professional with a Texas Cosmetology License from A&C Cosmetology College in Austin. With 18 years of experience in Residential Construction, Roni has held various roles across departments like Warranty/Construction, Accounts Payable, Permitting, and currently serves as the Construction Administrative Assistant at Jauregui.

Passionate about the homebuilding industry, Roni thrives on the collaborative effort it takes to bring homes to life. Her diverse experience and expertise in different departments have been instrumental in her successful career journey. Roni’s dedication to her work and love for the intricacies of home construction have been driving forces in her long-standing commitment to the field.

Megan Velek has been working with Jauregui for over a year now. This is her first job working in the construction world, and she loves working with all of the talented tradesmen and women that help build our homes. Brittany Devine earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from The University of Houston-downtown. Entering her 3rd year at Jauregui, her accounts payable position  allows her to apply her financial skills in a dynamic and rewarding environment where every contribution counts towards building something tangible and impactful. Her favorite part of her position is being able to work closely with a variety of people, both internally and externally and having that constant communication and connection with each department. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog and family in Houston.

Nicole Holtin holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas and brings a wealth of experience from both the Interior Design and Marketing fields. Angela Fogle Executive Assistant

Angela holds a Bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. Organization has always been a strong suit of hers, and getting to do it for work is the best of both worlds. Helping things run smoothly behind the scenes at Jauregui with such a fun and welcoming team is a dream come true for her. Outside of work, Angela completed her first (and only) half marathon at Disney this year. She also loves reading and listening to audiobooks while walking her dog.

Britlyn Wicker is our Office Manager with three years of expertise in customer service and administration. Known for her problem-solving, Britlyn is dedicated to providing warm, client-centric support.
